SOPHIE MASIKA
Sophie graduated with a Bachelor’s of veterinary medicine from the University of Nairobi. She is well a trained professional in animal health which is the core of livestock rearing. She has a masters in veterinary epidemiology and economics which is basically studying disease patterns and the monetary impact of diseases. This skill will ensure she always incorporates the economics of animal health and frameworks for risk analysis and risk management to improve disease prevention and control in the business. Additionally she has done a number of short courses on disease preparedness, socio-economic impact of livestock diseases, small holder farming systems, gender monitoring among other which are valuable assets in running the farm sustainably.

Nouled Noula is focused on collaborating with professionals and upskilling local women to economically empower them. This allows the farm to depend on diverse skills to produce organic and high-quality goat meat.
